Today's Morning Edition music is from "All Shook Up" by Elvis Presley, which was No. 1 on the Billboard pop chart 60 years ago today.

Elvis and Ottis Blackwell are listed as the co-writers of this song. Elvis reportedly came up with the refrain for this tune, which is more than he contributed to other songs that he is credited with writing. He was so hot at the time that writers would agree to split the royalties if Elvis recorded their song.
