Metro Transit will run buses in place of trains from Friday evening until early Monday morning on stretches of Twin Cities light rail lines so it can complete scheduled maintenance.

Beginning at 6:45 p.m. Friday, buses will replace Blue Line trains from Franklin Avenue to Target Field station and Green Line trains from Stadium Village to Target Field station.

During the disruption, customers can board replacement buses near each affected station, the agency said. Trains are expected to resume by 5 a.m. on Monday.
