The housing challenges of north Minneapolis

Efforts to improve housing options for minority communities in Minneapolis appear to be producing mixed results. Much of the rental housing being built in the city is aimed at high-income tenants. People of moderate means find themselves excluded from some subsidized housing in north Minneapolis because they make too much money to qualify. And a recent report from the Minnesota Homeownership Center shows that the disparity between white homeowners and homeowners of color is growing larger.

The Daily Circuit talks with Don Samuels, former member of the Minneapolis City Council and candidate for mayor, about the housing challenges facing Minneapolis.
