Jeff Johnson, Republican gubernatorial candidate and Hennepin County Commissioner, joins The Daily Circuit to talk about the issues that have defined his campaign.

We invited incumbent Gov. Mark Dayton, but he said he was unavailable prior to Election Day.

Johnson's recent campaign ads have focused on accusations that Dayton is too concerned with the Twin Cities at the expense of rural areas of the state and his support for the proposed PolyMet mining project on the Iron Range. He's said he would roll back tax increases on wealthy Minnesotans approved by Dayton and a DFL-controlled legislature.

Johnson is a lawyer who served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2001 to 2007. He unsuccessfully ran for Minnesota Attorney General in 2006.
