This has put Republican leaders on the offensive; they issued a set of changes to their original proposal earlier this week.
MPR News Host Kerri Miller spoke with NPR Health policy correspondent, Alison Kodjak, and Leighton Ku, Director of the Center for Health Policy Research at George Washington University, about the potential economic impact the proposal could have on voters.
