Minneapolis police say they need the public's help identifying two suspects they say robbed a 90-year-old woman just before noon on Aug. 5 as she walked home from her neighborhood grocery.

The department on Thursday posted photos on Facebook of the two female suspects.

Authorities said the pair confronted the woman in the area around the 3100 block of 51st Street E., near Lake Nokomis, and threatened to shoot her if she did not give them her purse. "Fearing for her safety, the victim complied. The suspects fled the area," the department said.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send an anonymous tip to CRIMES (274637) and begin message with: TIP674. A monetary award may be available for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
