MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with University of Minnesota climatologist Mark Seeley about the month of February so far, which has been warmer than average.

We are due do get a brief cold spell soon, but will warm up again.

He also talks about shallow frost depths in much of Minnesota, which is good news for farmers and gardeners.
