Officials: Siblings died of smoke inhalation in Mpls. fire
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner said Wednesday all three children who died in a fire over the weekend died of smoke inhalation and "thermal injuries."
Latorious Thomas, 6, Latoria Thomas, 5, and Latorianna Thomas, 23 months, were victims of a fatal fire that was reported just before midnight Saturday in north Minneapolis.
The Medical Examiner said Latorious and his baby sister Latorianna died at 1:35 a.m. at the home on the 2700 block of Penn Avenue North. The Medical Examiner's office says it could have been the time they were found if the exact time of death was not known.
Latoria died at 12:47 a.m. at Hennepin County Medical Center, according to the medical examiner.
