The blizzard of no-school parodies

They’re digging out from 3 feet of snow in New England today. And a principal at a private school in Rhode Island is getting the attention he craved with another parody no-school announcement.

It happened at the Moses Brown School in Rhode Island.

The principal in the video isn’t doing the singing; the school’s choir director is.

Meanwhile, the Boston Globe provides the forehead-slapworthy story to reinforce that the American worker isn’t “dedicated” unless he/she/it sacrifices safety and common sense to go to work. Many of the workers profiled were health-care workers — they’re wired that way — but the person who defied a driving ban to get to a Whole Foods store? They just make it tough on the rest of us.
