House tax plan not just about tax cuts
Spanning 400 pages, the House Republican-crafted tax bill is a cornucopia of proposed changes to state tax law.
Some of the bulk stems from the fact that a tax bill hasn't made it across the finish line since 2014.
Republicans touted the tax relief for farmers, senior citizens, college graduates and others in discussing the bill's highlights Wednesday. But the full plan touches on much more, from fireworks to fairs and plastic bags to passenger rail.
