Police said a call came in shortly after 7 a.m. about the sound of gunshots in an apartment in the 5400 block of 34th Avenue South.
Police wouldn't say exactly what happened, but a neighbor said a man in the building shot his girlfriend, two children and then himself.
"It wouldn't be fair to start making speculations about, you know, exactly what happened," Police spokesman Corey Schmidt said. "But what I can tell you is that we are not looking for a suspect and there is no threat to the public safety."
