Winter storm means cancellations, delays at MSP

At least 17 flights have been cancelled at 25 delayed at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport as a result of a winter storm in the Midwest.

Most of the cancellations are flights to Chicago, where a foot of snow is expected.

"The air traffic system is all interconnected and it can have a real domino effect whenever weather hits one area of the country, especially a busy airport like Chicago-O'Hare," said airport spokeswoman Amanda Greene Guentzel.
