Lindstrom man killed after car strikes power pole
A 52-year-old rural Lindstrom man has died after the car he was driving struck a power pole in Franconia Township.
The Chisago County Sheriff's Office said the crash occurred early Friday. The sheriff's office is investigating the fatal crash, which occurred after 1 a.m.
They say the man, who hasn't been identified by name, was at the wheel of a car that struck the pole, rolled on its side and came to rest in a ditch with live wires across it.
