Victim in fatal stabbing near U identified
Authorities have identified the man who died last week after being stabbed in a car near the campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Sean Mwangi Maina, 21, of Maple Grove, died Thursday of multiple stab wounds, according to a report by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner. The wounded man was found in a car near the intersection of 13th Avenue and University Avenue in Dinkytown. He died at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Minneapolis police have charged Brandon Kenneth Bockoven, 23, also of Maple Grove, in Maina's death.
