It's not clear yet how good the Minnesota Vikings will play this season, but there's no doubt the team's scoring big with its new stadium.

The Vikings said Thursday that all 2016 home games are now sold out for the inaugural season at U.S. Bank Stadium, the glass and steel behemoth in Minneapolis.

Of the stadium's 66,655 seats for NFL football, more than 60,400 are committed for the entire season with the remaining single-game seats also sold out, the team said in a statement.

As a result, the Vikings have launched a wait list for tickets and suites.

"The excitement for this team combined with the overwhelming response to U.S. Bank Stadium is incredible," Vikings owner and team president Mark Wilf.

The Vikings are encouraging fans looking for tickets to sign up for the wait, check the Ticketmaster website or call the team's ticket office at (612) 33VIKES "as a very limited number of ticket returns, such as visiting team returns the week of a home game, are likely throughout the season."
