A woman thought to be abducted Thursday afternoon was found about four hours later when an officer spotted a van that matched the description in a public alert.

Minneapolis police say witnesses reported Alexis Jade Nabors, 20, was "physically forced" into a Chevrolet Astro van by a 20-year-old ex-boyfriend in the 3300 block of Knox Avenue North.

An officer saw the van driving in south Minneapolis. Other officers helped with the traffic stop, and Nabors "was in the vehicle and found unharmed," according to a statement released by police spokesman John Elder.

A man was taken into custody for questioning. Police expect he will be booked into the Hennepin County detention center later.
