Police: Man fatally shoots himself outside Roseville school
Authorities say a 48-year-old man shot and killed himself outside of a Montessori school in Roseville.
Police were called Monday afternoon to Hand in Hand Christian Montessori School following a report of a shot fired through a window in the school's kitchen. Police say two staff members were in the kitchen at the time but no one was injured.
A responding officer reported finding the Falcon Heights man dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a vehicle in the school's parking lot.
According to a police statement, investigators are trying to determine why the man fired a round at the school before committing suicide.
Investigators say the man made suicidal statements to a friend earlier in the day.
