Why it’s not going to be ‘nice’ this weekend

It’s going to be nice this weekend. The weatherpeople say so.

Why just today, we’re up to 29 degrees, not quite the point where it’s supposed to break the streak for consecutive days below freezing, but pretty close to tolerable. Already this season, we’ve reached the point at which “pretty close” is plenty good enough.

Or is it?

Last evening, the CBC posted a voicemail from an irate listener who has had it with weatherpeople promising “nice” weather at this time of year.

Perhaps you can relate.

Fair warning: It’s not suitable for the workplace.
